Morning After Pill/Emergency Contraception

Morning After Pill, also know as Emergency Contraception is a safe and effective way to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex or when birth control fails if used within 72 hours after unprotected intercourse.
Emergency contraception pills prevent pregnancy by temporarily stopping the release of an egg from a woman’s ovary; they may also prevent a fertilized egg from attaching to the uterus.
Women’s Center offers affordable emergency contraception at each of our locations.  No appointment is necessary.

If you have intercourse without using birth control or if your control method failed your chances of becoming pregnant increases. Emergency contraceptive treatment allows you a second chance to prevent pregnancy.

The Morning After Pill treatment has been used in Europe for the last 25 years and was recently introduced as a method of choice in the United States of America.
This method should not be used as a primary form of birth control and should only be used in emergencies.

This treatment is very safe, comfortable, non-invasive and affordable. The treatment can prevent a pregnancy from occurring when used within 72 hours after intercourse. After a paid routine exam by a certified OB/GYN, the medication will be provided to you free of charge along with clear, detailed instructions.

Call the clinic nearest you for further information about this and our gynecological services.

Teens ***FYI
If you are a teenager who is (or considering) becoming sexually active, you DO NOT need parental consent to obtain birth control or to be tested for sexually transmitted infections. You can call anyone of our locations for an immediate appointment.
